Agonis Flexuosa After Dark

One of the most striking small trees for contrast in the garden. Agonis flexuosa After Dark produces spectacular deep burgundy foliage in a soft weeping habit. During late spring it produces clusters of petite white flowers visible through the foliage. After Dark is an excellent tree for screening or on show as a feature tree. It’s perfectly suited to gardens with grey-green or silver foliage palettes as the burgundy foliage creates the ultimate colour contrast throughout the year. Hardy and best suited to full sun, it is also drought, heat and wind tolerant. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M Native Slow Release fertiliser. Agonis After Dark grows to 6m height and 3.5m width.

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted. Heat and drought tolerant once established.

Sun: Full sun.

Soil: Fertile, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner and Charlie Charcoal prior to planting.
