Dieffenbachia Corsii
A rather easy to grow indoor plant, Dieffenbachia sport a stunning variety of foliage colours and patterns, with Dieffenbachia memoria corsii being no different. With broad marbled green and white leaves, it's a beautiful plant for both indoors and outdoors in protected shady positions. Ideally situated under a sheltered patio, in a conservatory or almost anywhere bright indoors, dieffenbachia are reasonably versatile and hardy. They like humidity so do best when grouped with other plants, and kept away from air conditioners, fans and droughty spots. For enhanced growth we recommend using Troforte M Indoor & Patio Slow Release fertiliser at half the recommended application rate. Dieffenbachia memoria corsii grows to 45cm height and width, but can reach over 1m tall in ideal growing conditions after some years.
Water: Water well and often when freshly planted and during hotter periods. In the garden, use a chunky mulch, we recommend using Aussie Organics Chunky Pine Bark. Indoors, with a preference for moisture during the growing season, water well when the top 1-2cm of soil becomes dry.
Sun: Indoors, in bright indirect to full sun (North, South or East facing windows). Outdoors in full shade, full morning sun or lightly dappled positions. Keep out of Westerly facing windows or afternoon sun exposure.
Soil: In the garden a fertile, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner and Charlie Charcoal prior to planting. Indoors a well-draining, fertile indoor mix. We recommend using The Home Plant Co Indoor Potting Mix.
