Escallonia Pink Elle

Escallonia Pink Elle is an easy to grow, small evergreen shrub with a compact habit. Its leaves are dark green and glossy, and it produces stunning summer displays of upright pink flowers that fade to white as they age. Pink Elle looks fantastic as a low ornamental hedge or planted in containers as a feature plant in small gardens and courtyards. Once established, Pink Elle has a low water requirement, but does best with additional waterings during extended hot dry periods and whilst flowering. Remove spent flower heads. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M All Purpose Slow Release fertiliser. Escallonia Pink Elle reaches 1m height and width.

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted and during extended dry periods and flowering. Use a chunky mulch in the garden, we recommend using Aussie Organics Chunky Pine Bark.

Sun: Full sun preferred, tolerant of part shade.

Soil: Fertile, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner and Charlie Charcoal prior to planting.
