Grevillea Ivanhoe

Grevillea is the backbone of the Australian native garden and one of the best-performing genera in Perth's climate. Drought tolerant once established, minimal fertiliser needs, year-round or near-year-round flowering, and an extraordinary ability to draw honeyeaters, spinebills, and wattlebirds into the garden. Perth's sandy, well-drained soils suit grevilleas almost perfectly. Full sun. Well-drained soil. Low-phosphorus native fertiliser only - phosphorus sensitivity is the most common reason grevilleas fail. Tip-prune after the main flowering flush to keep plants bushy and productive.
