Grevillea Sandra Gordon

Grevillea Sandra Gordon is a team favourite at Waldecks. An ideal evergreen shrub or small tree with a spreading habit, stunning silver-green foliage and gorgeous large golden yellow flowers in winter and spring. Bird and bee attracting with its nectar-rich flowers, Sandra Gordon is perfectly suited to native, modern, waterwise and perennial gardens. It also works well in shrubberies and landscapes, unparalleled in multi-purpose planting! An open sunny position is best, in a spot protected from strong winds. Lightly prune after flowering to maintain a compact growth habit or let it grow as it chooses, you can’t really grow wrong. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M Native Slow Release fertiliser in spring. Grevillea Sandra Gordon grows to 3-6m height and 3.5m width.

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted. Drought tolerant once established.

Sun: Full sun.

Soil: Fertile, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner and Charlie Charcoal prior to planting.
