Kangaroo Paw - Anigozanthos Bush Zest

Perhaps the happiest of all Kangaroo Paws, this one is sure to put a smile on your face during spring and summer. An upright and relatively tough plant, the bright lemon-yellow flowers hang around for most of the year, and will be evenly more intensely coloured in sunny positions. Very long lived and attractive to native birds and insects, this is a wonderful low maintenance kangaroo paw. Mass planted in native gardens and landscapes, as a potted specimen in small gardens and courtyards, or in cottage gardens, Bush Fury is truly a stand out. Pruning dead flowers and spent foliage encourages new growth and keeps the plant looking its best. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M Native Slow Release fertiliser in autumn and spring to keep in good health. Anigozanthos Bush Fury grows to 45cm height and width.

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted, and during flowering for best results. Drought tolerant once established.

Sun: Full sun to part shade.

Soil: Sandy-loam, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner, Charlie Charcoal and Sand Remedy prior to planting.
