Nerium Dwarf Apricot

Nerium oleander Dwarf Apricot is a tough, hardy upright shrub with evergreen foliage. There are only a handful of plants that will grow anywhere in Australia and this is one of them. The strappy, leathery green foliage is dense, and flowers are a spectacular apricot colour, bell-shaped and appearing in clusters throughout the year. Ideally suited to garden beds, informal hedges and screening, mass planting or also in pots, Dwarf Apricot Nerium will grow where nothing else will. Dwarf apricot is wind, drought and frost tolerant once established. For the best growth, prune back by one third after flowering has finished in late autumn to winter. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M All Purpose Slow Release fertiliser. Nerium Dwarf Apricot grows to 1.5-2m height and 1-1.5m width.

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted and during warmer seasons. Use a chunky mulch in the garden, we recommend using Aussie Organics Chunky Pine Bark. Drought tolerant once established.

Sun: Full sun to part shade.

Soil: Fertile, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner and Charlie Charcoal prior to planting.
