Polygala x Oppositifolia Little Polly

Commonly known as both Little Polly and sweet pea shrub, this selection of Polygala is a real cutie. A fast growing neat rounded shrub covered in purple pea flowers during spring and summer. Being more compact, Little Polly is perfectly suited to border plantings, low hedging, in garden beds and also in pots and containers. Light prune at the beginning of spring to promote compact growth and flowering. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M All Purpose Slow Release fertiliser three times per year. Polygala Little Polly grows to 1m height and width.

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted and during warmer seasons. Use a chunky mulch in the garden, we recommend using Aussie Organics Chunky Pine Bark.

Sun: Full sun, tolerant of part shade.

Soil: Fertile, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner and Charlie Charcoal prior to planting.
