Rhaphiolepis Indica

Indian Hawthorn produces masses of small pink or white flowers in spring and attractive dark berries in summer. Genuinely low-maintenance, tolerates Perth's sandy soils and periods of drought once established, and forms neat, dense mounds. Full sun to part shade. Well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. Low fertiliser needs. Indica is the standard Indian Hawthorn species - medium-growing with pink flowers and the classic dense, rounded form.
