Agapanthus Fireworks

One of the most reliable and rewarding summer-flowering perennials for Perth gardens. Agapanthus produces large globular flower heads on tall stems in blue, white, or purple above clumps of strap-like foliage, typically from December through February - exactly when the Perth summer garden needs reliable colour. It tolerates drought, coastal winds, sandy soils, and neglect with composure. Full sun to part shade. Well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. Feed in spring. Remove spent flower stems. Divide clumps every 4-5 years when they become congested.
