Osteospermum Purple Sun

African Daisy produces an almost continuous display of large, daisy-like flowers from late autumn through spring - exactly when most other flowering shrubs are quiet. Perth's winter sunshine and mild temperatures are ideal. Full sun. Well-drained soil. Minimal watering once established. Deadhead spent flowers to prolong the display. Cut back by half after the main flowering flush. Purple Sun produces deep purple flowers with a vivid yellow-orange centre - the strong contrast between the rich purple petals and warm centre makes this one of the boldest varieties.
