Calothamnus Quadrifidus

One-sided Bottlebrush is a WA native producing red claw-like flowers arranged along one side of each stem, set against fine needle foliage. Quadrifidus is the plain form rather than a named cultivar and the most widely grown form, tough on poor sandy soil and coastal exposure. Excellent for honeyeaters. Full sun. Sharp drainage. Phosphorus-free fertiliser only. Prune lightly after flowering.
