Myoporum Broad Leaf
Commonly known as creeping boobialla, the broad leaf form of Myoporum is a brilliant native ground cover with fleshy green leaves often tinged with purple during summer, becoming a deep green during winter. Masses of small white star-shaped flowers covering the foliage during summer. Excellent for rockeries, dry embankments and low maintenance gardens. Broadleaf Myoporum performs best in full sun, but tolerates part shade well. Woody stems can be cut back in winter to encourage dense new growth. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M Native Slow Release fertiliser. Broadleaf Myoporum reaches 10cm height and 2-3m width.
Water: Water well and often when freshly planted. Drought tolerant once established.
Sun: Full sun to part shade.
Soil: Sandy, free draining soils making it well suited to the Perth environment. We recommend using Charlie Charcoal prior to planting for best results.
