Polystone is a blend of resin and stone aggregate, worked to be unexpectedly light for its size and sturdy enough to stay outdoors. The pigment is interwoven through the material rather than applied to the surface, so there is no coloured layer that can chip back to something different underneath. UV and temperature resistance are both very high, which is what suits it to standing in full sun through summer.

There is no drainage hole, so a plant sits inside in its nursery pot. We recommend an internal saucer underneath to keep water off the floor. To plant directly into the pot, drainage holes are essential, and we can drill them before dispatch if you note it at the time of order. Drilled pots are not eligible for change of mind returns.

Our lightweight ranges are consciously sourced, designed and curated with Perth in mind. Our climate is unforgiving on a pot, and every range we carry has been chosen because it holds its colour and its surface here without ever looking tired.

Being lightweight is what makes the scale possible. A pot large enough to hold a mature olive can be lifted and placed by hand, so a courtyard, a balcony or a rooftop can carry a piece that would otherwise be out of reach.

The ranges are chosen to sit together. Shapes and finishes are selected so that pairs, and clusters of threes across different sizes, read as one composition, and it is the balance across a group that grounds a space.
