Shaped by hand in Northern Thailand using techniques passed down for centuries, then finished by hand and fired in a traditional wood kiln. The colour and the shape both carry the making, so no two come out the same.

One drainage hole in the base. Sizes vary by around ten percent, which is the nature of hand-forming.

The giftware and homewares range at Waldecks is curated carefully, with each object considered against the others in the range and against the plants it will sit beside. Material, texture and colour are chosen so that the pieces work together rather than as a collection of unrelated items.

What we are after is grounding. Beautiful objects that anchor a home to the place it is in, which in Perth means the light we have, the climate we garden in, and the way we live between the house and the garden. A garden centre should celebrate our connection with nature, with our homes and with the community around us, and the things we choose to sell alongside plants should do the same work.
