Alternanthera Little Maroon

Add brilliant colour to your garden all year round, Alternanthera Little Maroon is a hardy low shrub with wonderful performance in the Perth climate. A rich display of lush deep maroon foliage, this tidy compact plant is perfect for borders and edges, along pathways, driveways, low boundaries and suitable as a ground cover. Drought tolerant once established, it does benefit from a good soak during heatwaves. Alternanthera Little Maroon reaches 40cm height and width.

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted. Drought tolerant once established. Use a chunky mulch, we recommend using Aussie Organics Chunky Pine Bark.

Sun: Full sun, part shade, full shade.

Soil: Fertile, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner and Charlie Charcoal prior to planting.
