Agave Potatorum

Commonly known as the Butterfly Agave, this is a beautifully symmetrical small succulent that’s very drought tolerant and ideal for xeric gardens. It forms neat rosettes of fleshy blue-grey foliage that are dangerously spiky. A striking sculptural addition to any modern garden.

Water: In summer water well to ensure full growth, reducing water in winter to bare minimum.

Sun: Full sun.

Soil: Gritty, free draining soils making it perfectly suited to the Perth environment. When grown in pots we recommend using Searles Cacti & Succulent Specialty Mix.
