Cunjevoi is an Australian native, found along the rainforest margins and creek lines of Queensland and northern New South Wales, and grown for large, glossy, upright leaves that hold a strong subtropical presence. It handles deeper shade than most large-leaved plants and suits a sheltered Perth courtyard given consistent moisture. Part to full shade. Rich, moist soil. Water generously through summer. All parts are toxic to pets and humans if ingested.
