Arthropodium Tepuna
A hardy, clumping perennial valued for its soft green, strap-like foliage and delicate sprays of small white, star-shaped flowers in spring and summer. Native to New Zealand, it adapts well to Western Australian conditions and is an excellent choice for low-maintenance gardens.
This versatile plant works beautifully as a border plant, ground cover, or feature in mass plantings. It is drought tolerant once established and performs well in both coastal and inland gardens.
Water:
Water regularly while establishing. Avoid overwatering, especially in winter.
Sun:
Performs best in part shade. In WA, light shade from hot afternoon sun is beneficial, particularly during extreme summer heat.
Soil:
Prefers well-draining soil. Tolerates sandy and loamy soils common in Western Australia. Improve heavy soils with organic matter to ensure good drainage.
