Baby Sunrose - Aptenia Cordifolia

 Commonly known as Baby Sun Rose, this wonderful succulent comprises succulent, pointy green foliage that forms dense mats, covered in bright hot pink flowers throughout autumn. Once established, few weeds can penetrate the dense mat making it practical as well as attractive. A spectacular groundcover for coastal, Mediterranean or dry gardens, it’s also ideal in pots or rockeries, embankments, walls and garden beds alike.

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted. Heat and drought tolerant once established.

Sun: Full sun, tolerant of part shade but may not be as dense.

Soil: Gritty, free draining soils making it perfectly suited to the Perth environment. When grown in pots we recommend using Searles Cacti & Succulent Specialty Mix.
