Bidens Pretty in Pink

Bidens is a compact, mounding to spreading groundcover producing masses of small daisy-like flowers over a very long season from spring through autumn, continuously rather than in a single flush. One of the better small bee-attracting plants for Perth gardens, the open flowers give easy nectar access to native bees and honeybees. Pretty in Pink is a breeding breakthrough for a genus that has always been yellow and orange: soft pink petals streaked darker pink around a yellow centre, on a compact upright mound. Full sun. Well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. Tip-prune periodically and deadhead to keep the next wave coming.
