Bottlebrush - Callistemon Macarthur
Blending the best of Little John and Captain Cook, Macarthur is a bushy bottlebrush with prominent and abundant red flowers, and fresh green leaves. Good compact size for attractive hedging and feature planting. Drought tolerant, frost tolerant, myrtle rust resistant.
Water: Mulch and water well for up to 12 weeks or until the plant is established and builds its drought tolerance.
Sun: Full sun or partly shaded position.
Soil: Suits most soil types. Apply a native slow release fertiliser during spring for maximum flowering and new growth. This is a low maintenance shrub.
