Bougainvillea Mahatma Ghandi
Bougainvillea is a vining climber that is deciduous in cool to cold areas but evergreen in warm climates. You may know of the Bougainvillea because of their masses of coloured blooms in the warmer months, often found growing along pergolas and trellis's. Once established, the bougainvillaea is very drought-tolerant climber and will be happy in our warm Australian climate but dislikes cold weather and frost.
Water: Water regularly until well established, and then occasional heavy watering once mature.
Sun: Full sun.
Soil: Well draining soil, or premium potting mix if grown in a container.
