Camellia Bonanza

Camellias produce spectacular flowers in autumn and winter when little else is in colour. They prefer slightly acidic soil and protection from hot afternoon sun. Part shade to full sun - morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal. Slightly acidic, well-drained but moisture-retentive soil. Mulch heavily. Water consistently. Feed with an acid-forming fertiliser after flowering. Bonanza is a compact, free-flowering selection with deep pink-red flowers in a semi-double form - noted for prolific and reliable flowering.
