Camellia Brushfields Yellow

Camellias produce spectacular flowers from late autumn through early spring when little else is in colour. They prefer slightly acidic soil and protection from hot afternoon sun. Part shade to full sun - morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal. Slightly acidic, well-drained but moisture-retentive soil. Mulch heavily. Water consistently. Feed with an acid-forming fertiliser after flowering. Brushfields Yellow is one of the most unusual Camellias available - cream-white outer petals surrounding a dense centre of yellow petaloids. A genuine conversation piece in any garden.
