Carex Blue Waves

Blue Waves Carex is a fine-leaved sedge producing arching, foliage in soft blue-grey tones - the colour and movement together give it a quality that static, upright plants lack. The leaves arch gracefully outward from a central clump, catching light and movement in a breeze. It prefers more moisture than most strappy plants, which makes it a useful option for wetter garden positions, the edges of water features, and shaded courtyards where moisture is more consistent. Part shade to full sun. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Water regularly - does not tolerate prolonged drying out.
