Cotyledon Bear Paws

Bear Paws is a small branching succulent grown for its chunky, velvety leaves, each tipped with reddish teeth that give it the paw shape and the name. The surface is finely furred rather than powdery, and the red tips deepen in strong light. Slow growing to around 30cm, with orange bell flowers on upright stems in spring. Full sun to bright light. Excellent drainage. Water sparingly and let it dry out completely between drinks, since the furred leaves mark and rot if kept wet.
