Croton Speckled

Croton is grown for its thick, leathery leaves in some of the strongest colours of any foliage plant, and it holds that colour best in bright light, including some morning sun. It often drops a few leaves after a move or a change in light or watering, then regrows them once it settles. Bright light with some morning sun. Keep the potting mix evenly moist but not waterlogged, and keep it away from cold draughts. Raise the humidity in dry, air-conditioned rooms. Feed monthly in spring and summer. All parts are toxic to pets and humans if ingested, and the sap can irritate skin. Speckled carries green leaves freckled all over with lime-yellow spots.
