Davallia Rabbits Foot

Rabbit's Foot Fern earns its common name from the distinctive furry, cream-brown rhizomes that creep over the edge of the pot and hang down the sides - they genuinely look and feel like a rabbit's foot. The fine, divided fronds sit above in a neat mound. It is grown as much for the unusual rhizomes as for the fronds, and is excellent in a hanging basket or elevated pot where the creeping rhizomes can be seen and appreciated. Bright indirect light. Allow soil to partially dry between waterings - more drought tolerant than most ferns. Do not bury the rhizomes.
