Dichondra Emerald Falls - Hanging Basket

Emerald Falls Dichondra cascades in a dense curtain of small, perfectly round vivid green leaves on trailing stems. It is one of the most effective pure-foliage hanging basket plants available - no flowers, just a clean, lush wall of green that looks fresh and full from the moment it is hung. It is a Dichondra repens selection, and it differs from Silver Falls in both leaf and habit: the leaves are rounded and held close to the stem, and the plant branches heavily early, so it covers a pot faster and holds a denser, tighter shape. It also grows wider than it grows long, trailing to around 90cm, where Silver Falls keeps running. Bright indirect light. Water regularly - hanging baskets dry out faster than ground plantings, especially in warm positions.
