Gomphrena Purple

Gomphrena carries round, papery flowerheads on wiry stems right through the heat of summer, when many plants stall. This purple form holds its colour in the garden and dries well for cut arrangements. It thrives in heat, poor soil and dry spells. Full sun to part shade. Well-drained soil. Trim spent stems to keep it flowering. Drought tolerant once established.
