Grevillea Wooly Bear Hero

Grevillea Woolly Bear Hero is a very compact, soft, mounding groundcover or low shrub with sweet waxy pink and white flowers, flowering almost all year round! It’s very drought hardy, making it perfect for mass planting as a groundcover, along path edges, low boundaries or in rockeries and embankments. Woolly Bear Hero is also an excellent 1st line coastal plant. Does prefer a neutral pH so added charcoal will be beneficial. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M Native Slow Release fertiliser. Woolly Bear Hero grows to 10-30cm height and 1-1.5m width.

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted. Very drought tolerant once established.

Sun: Full sun for best flowering, part shade.

Soil: Sandy, free draining soils making it well suited to the Perth environment. We recommend using Charlie Charcoal prior to planting for best results.
