Hardenbergia Meema

Meema is a compact Hardenbergia producing soft pink pea flowers in late winter and spring - an unusual colour in a genus where vivid purple is the norm. The pink form is gentler and more restrained than Happy Wanderer, and the plant itself is more contained, reaching around 1m in height rather than climbing extensively. It suits garden positions where Happy Wanderer's vigour would be too much - a low border, a contained groundcover, or a pot planting. Full sun to part shade. Well-drained soil. Phosphorus-free fertiliser. Drought tolerant once established.
