Hibiscus Tiliaceus Rubra

Tropical hibiscus flowers through spring, and handles Perth's hot, sunny summers. Full sun. Well-drained, fertile soil. Water regularly through the growing season. Feed with a balanced fertiliser through spring and summer. Prune in late winter to early spring. Tiliaceus Rubra is a different species to the tropical cultivars - a large, architectural shrub to small tree with deep burgundy-purple foliage and smaller cream flowers. Outstanding as a structural foliage plant.
