Kalanchoe is an African and Malagasy succulent genus that stores water in its fleshy leaves and stems, making it drought tolerant in garden and pot conditions. Silver Spoons (Kalanchoe Hildebrandtii) produces long, spoon-shaped leaves covered in dense silver-white hairs that give the plant an almost completely white appearance - one of the most silver-toned of all succulents. The silvery coating protects the leaves from heat and sun, meaning it is happy in Perth's hottest outdoor positions. Full sun. Allow to dry completely between waterings.
