Kangaroo Paw - Anigozanthos Valentine
Kangaroo Paw is one of Western Australia's signature wildflowers, sending nectar-rich, velvety flowers up on stems above a fan of strappy leaves. Valentine, a Kings Park cultivar, carries two-toned bright pink velvety flowers on soft grey-green foliage, around 50cm tall and 40cm wide, from winter through summer, and it suits tubs and pots. Full sun. Free-draining soil. Low-phosphorus native fertiliser. Cut spent stems to the base.
