Lilly Pilly - Syzygium Straight and Narrow

This is the best narrow Lilly Pilly for hedging. Straight and Narrow is an upright and, you guessed it, narrow bushy compact variety which is also psyllid resistant. Beautiful lush green foliage emerges with bronze tips and fluffy cream flowers followed by red-pink fruits. Ideal for fence lines, driveways, in pots and perfect for topiary. Equally suitable for small gardens and large landscapes. Mulching is ideal as Straight and Narrow enjoys moisture. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M All Purpose Slow Release fertiliser in spring. A light prune once or twice a year will keep them looking healthy and full.

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted. Drought tolerant once established. Use a chunky mulch, we recommend using Aussie Organics Chunky Pine Bark.

Sun: Full sun to part shade.

Soil: Fertile, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner and Charlie Charcoal prior to planting.
