Nerium Cherry Surprise

Nerium oleander Cherry Surprise is a tough and hardy medium shrub with a tropical feel. Dense and evergreen with shiny narrow green foliage, it produces sweetly fragrant star-shaped bright red flowers in spring, summer and autumn. Ideally suited to garden beds, informal hedges and screening, mass planting or also in pots. Cherry Surprise is drought and frost tolerant once established. For the best growth, prune back by one third after flowering has finished in late autumn to winter. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M All Purpose Slow Release fertiliser. Nerium Cherry Surprise grows to 1.5m height and 1.2m width.

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted and during warmer seasons. Use a chunky mulch in the garden, we recommend using Aussie Organics Chunky Pine Bark. Drought tolerant once established.

Sun: Full sun to part shade.

Soil: Fertile, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner and Charlie Charcoal prior to planting.
