Orange Washington Navel

A classic and highly popular orange variety prized for its large, sweet, seedless fruit and excellent eating quality. Washington Navel Orange is ideal for home gardens, growing to around 3–4m high, and makes an attractive feature tree with glossy green foliage and fragrant white blossoms. The fruit is perfect for fresh eating and juicing.

Water: Moderate water requirements. Water deeply and regularly, especially during flowering, fruit development, and hot weather. Allow the soil surface to dry slightly between watering once established.

Sun: Grows best in full sun for optimal growth and fruit sweetness, but will tolerate light shade.

Soil: Prefers well-draining, fertile soil enriched with organic matter. Good drainage is essential to support healthy roots and consistent fruiting.
