A vast and underappreciated genus of compact indoor plants with extraordinary leaf variety. Peperomias store water in their thick, succulent-like leaves and are consequently very drought tolerant indoors - one of the better indoor plants for people who tend to forget to water. Bright indirect light. Allow soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Well-draining indoor potting mix. Feed monthly in spring and summer. Non-toxic to pets.
