Philodendron Shangri La

Philodendron Shangri La is an attractive tropical clumping shrub with deeply divided bright green leaves, forming a wonderful mound of foliage in ideal conditions. It is perfect for indoors in a bright position or protected shady outdoor areas, under evergreen trees or along shady paths. Keep warm and protected from droughts or air conditioners indoors. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M Indoor & Patio Slow Release fertiliser. Philodendron Shangri La reaches approximately 1-1.5m height and similar width.

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted and during hotter periods. In the garden, use a chunky mulch, we recommend using Aussie Organics Chunky Pine Bark.

Sun: Indoors, in bright indirect to full sun (North, South or East facing windows). Outdoors in full shade to part shade, or dappled positions. Protect from Westerly sun to prevent leaf burn.

Soil: Indoors a well-draining, fertile indoor mix. We recommend using The Home Plant Co Indoor Potting Mix. In pots, a well-draining, fertile mix. We recommend using Waldecks Premium Potting Mix. In the garden, moist, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner and Charlie Charcoal prior to planting.
