Pietro Anduze Textured Urn

Pietro Stoneware is glass fibre reinforced concrete. Long strand fibreglass is chopped and combined with the cement mix at the moment of application, which develops the strength to work in thin walls, so each piece weighs a fraction of what the same form would in pre-cast concrete.

Each piece is hand finished to remove cast lines, so colour and surface stay consistent across a group, and coloured with reactive oxides and paints that hold up outdoors.

Our lightweight ranges are consciously sourced, designed and curated with Perth in mind. Our climate is unforgiving on a pot, and every range we carry has been chosen because it holds its colour and its surface here without ever looking tired.

Being lightweight is what makes the scale possible. A pot large enough to hold a mature olive can be lifted and placed by hand, so a courtyard, a balcony or a rooftop can carry a piece that would otherwise be out of reach.

The ranges are chosen to sit together. Shapes and finishes are selected so that pairs, and clusters of threes across different sizes, read as one composition, and it is the balance across a group that grounds a space.
