Polygala Little Charma

Little Charma is a compact Polygala growing to around 60-80cm - slightly larger than Little Bibi - and producing the same masses of small, sweet pea-shaped flowers in purple-pink almost continuously through the year. The flowers are the main event: tiny, vivid, and produced in extraordinary quantity relative to the size of the plant. It has a neat, rounded habit and requires almost no maintenance beyond an occasional light trim. Full sun to part shade. Well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. One of the more reliably free-flowering small shrubs available for Perth gardens.
