Pyrostegiana Ignea
The popular orange trumpet vine is an extremely vigorous, weedy evergreen climber with delicate tendrils, climbing onto whatever it can grasp. It produces bunches of large orange trumpet-shaped flowers that completely cover the vine during autumn to winter. While ideal for covering walls and fences, it does grow extremely fast and amasses a huge amount of growth which has been known to lean or tip fences. Cut back yearly to maintain size and shape. Pyrostegia reaches 10m height and spread.
