Rosmarinus Salem

One of the most hardworking and drought-tolerant shrubs available in Perth, earning its place in any garden through both its culinary value and its ornamental character. Rosemary is completely at home in Perth's Mediterranean climate - it tolerates poor soil, extreme drought, coastal winds, and heavy pruning equally well. Full sun. Well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. Prune after flowering to maintain compact shape. Do not overwater. Salem is an upright, bushy rosemary with pale blue flowers in spring and early summer, growing to around a metre, which suits it to a low hedge or a pot by the kitchen door.
