Salvia White Flame
Ornamental salvias produce reliable spikes of tubular flowers in blue, purple, red, pink, or white in summer and autumn, excellent for attracting bees and butterflies. Full sun. Well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. Cut back by half after the main flowering flush to promote a second wave. White Flame is a hybrid of Salvia longispicata and Salvia farinacea, carrying tall spikes of clean white flowers from late spring until late autumn on a compact plant around half a metre tall, and it is exceptionally heat tolerant.
