Ligularia Dentata Reniformis

Tractor Seat Ligularia is named for the enormous, perfectly round to kidney-shaped leaves - some reaching 60cm across - that sit flat like a tractor seat on long upright stalks. It is one of the most dramatic foliage plants available for deep shade, with an almost prehistoric scale and character. The leaves are deeply veined and boldly architectural. Golden-yellow flowers appear on tall stems in summer but the foliage is the reason to plant it. Part to full shade. Consistently moist soil. Water generously. Will not tolerate drying out.
