Water Storage Crystals

Super absorbent crystals that swell to many times their weight and hold water at the root zone, releasing it as the plant draws on it. They recharge every time you water. Each 5g application stores around a litre.

• Wet mixing is the recommended method: mix a teaspoon into 750ml of water, leave an hour, then mix through 5L of potting mix. Use two teaspoons per 5L for hanging baskets and anything prone to drying out
• Plants already potted or in ground: poke vertical holes into the mix or along the drip line, place a small amount in the base of each, water in thoroughly and top with mix
• Sowing seed: mix 10g per square metre into the top 50mm of topsoil, sow and water in
• Laying turf: spread evenly at 10g per square metre, lay the turf, then water

Use them wet rather than dry, since they take up substantially more volume once charged.
