Westringia Blue Gem
Westringia Blue Gem produces the most vivid blue-purple flowers that contrast with their grey-blue foliage. Excellent as a feature plant, in mass plantings, general landscape and can be pruned into a hedge. It is well suited to cottage, modern or native gardens alike. Prune once or twice a year to maintain dense growth. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M Native Slow Release fertiliser. Blue Gem reaches 1.5m height and 1.3m width.
Water: Water well and often when freshly planted. Drought tolerant once established. Use a chunky mulch, we recommend using Aussie Organics Chunky Pine Bark.
Sun: Full sun to part shade.
Soil: Fertile, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner and Charlie Charcoal prior to planting.
